Writing blog posts that convert, expose your products and grow your audience.

Many writers get so consumed with keeping up their posting schedule that they don’t have any more energy left to pay attention to writing effectively. What I mean here is this:

Writing efficiently is choosing topics that relate to your brand and crafting helpful messages around.

Some writers may choose not to worry about being efficient, they may opt for writing about what they please. This is ok but I’m directing this post to those creative entrepreneurs who want to inform, connect and spread the message about their brand.
Since you already spend so much time writing, why wouldn’t you maximize the results of your blogging? Writing efficiently should be a priority of ours and here is what it’s worth paying attention to:

– Staying on topics that your audience is interested in.
Did you go to Greece and are now tempted to share your vacation pictures? Save them for your friends unless they relate to the theme of your blog.

– Removing ourselves from our blog posts and redirecting the spotlight to our readers. Making sure our posts are informational and helpful should be more important than sharing our personal story, which may not relate to the blog theme. Depending on your audience, tasteful mentions about your life events may be ok but do try making it relatable and tie it to the main theme of the blog.

– Including beautiful pictures and making our posts reader friendly. Medium.com may attribute a part of its success to the clean look and the fact that writers can make their posts reader friendly. There are a few ways to underline and list the important. Medium posts look clean and minimalistic. Being overwhelmed by stuff daily, readers appreciate this simple look.

– Mentioning our products in context. Products are often mentioned in posts in an unnatural and unfitting way. They transform the informational articles into sales pitches. There are gentle and contextual ways to mention the products, which can be great illustration of our concepts.

– Knowing what our audience wants to read about. It may take some time to discover which topics are most relevant for your audience but your testing and research will be worth it. Choosing a strong topic, which will resonate with our audience is the biggest advantage, which our blog can offer. The readers will subscribe and log on often if they know they’ll be getting value.

– Provide valuable content, which will make your audience want to read more. Determine what value you’re providing for your audience and how it will solve their problems. Here are some examples:

Easy to make recipes will save their time.
Tips about minimalism will declutter their life.
Successful stories may inspire them to take action.
Humorous articles will make them laugh.
Posts describing difficulties, which they can relate to will make them feel that they are not alone.
How-to articles may offer actionable advice.

Blogging is very time consuming and it’s very challenging to consistently keep up with our writing schedule. However, t’s worth to force ourselves to step back, take an objective look at our writing and decide how we can best align it with our goals.
